TaylorMade goes the distance with SMBC Singapore Open

Golf equipment maker TaylorMade have come on board as an Official Equipment Supporter of next year’s SMBC Singapore Open.
TaylorMade, the long-established and highly regarded brand will be sponsoring Singapore’s national Open for the first time and plan a series of promotions to highlight their involvement with such a prestigious event.
The SMBC Singapore Open, boasting prize money of at least US$1 million, will be played on The Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club from January 28 to 31.
It is the 50th edition of the tournament and for the first time ever it will be jointly sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the Japan Golf Tour Organisation.
“We are delighted to announce that we will be an Official Equipment Supporter of the SMBC Singapore Open,” said Ryan Hart, Senior Commercial Director, South & SE Asia, TaylorMade-adidas Golf.
“The finest players from the Asian and Japan Tours, many of whom use our equipment, will vie for the prestigious title and we are pleased to be associated with one of the region’s showpiece golfing events.”
TaylorMade Golf Company, a manufacturer for golf equipment and accessories under the TaylorMade brand and footwear under adidas Golf will promote their involvement with the SMBC Singapore Open through a number of activities in the months leading up to the event.
During the tournament, TaylorMade will provide the range balls for the professionals and give spectators the chance to test their latest drivers, irons and golf balls.
“The SMBC Singapore Open gives us a unique opportunity to interact with golfers of all abilities in a tournament setting and showcase our top of the line equipment,” said Ryan Hart.
